How to send or to receive a money transfer at a PrivatBank branch?

To send a money transfer:

Step 1. Visit any branch of the Bank with your passport or PrivatBank card.

Step 2. Submit the transfer amount and fee for sending to the teller.

Step 3. Receive the transfer order with the control number and communicate this to the beneficiary.

Transferring amounts exceeding the equivalent of UAH 15,000 may require opening a current account.

To receive a money transfer:

Step 1. Contact the bank employee and produce your passport or PrivatBank card for passing your identification.

Step 2. Communicate the transfer details: control number, amount, sender's name and country.

Step 3. Receive the money to your card or at the teller.

Transfers are paid out without any additional fees being imposed.

Using Privat24 system

To send a money transfer:

Step 1. Log in to Privat24.

Step 2. Go to the "Transfers" tab and select "Send" in the "Western Union" menu.

Step 3. Fill in the electronic form.

Step 4. Confirm transfer by pressing the "Finish" button.

Step 5. Communicate the transfer control number and amount to the beneficiary.

To receive a money transfer:

Step 1. Log in to Privat24.

Step 2. Go to "Transfers" tab and select "Receive" in the "Western Union" menu.

Step 3. Enter the control number, currency, transfer amount, the sender's first name, last name and country.

Step 4. Select account in the currency of the transfer for crediting the amount received.

Using PrivatBank ATM

For crediting the transfer to PrivatBank card account do the following:

Step 1. Insert the card into the ATM and enter PIN-code.

Step 2. Select "Additional Services"/"Money transfers"/"Western Union Transfers" in the ATM main menu.

Step 3. Enter your mobile phone number to receive a code.

Step 4. Enter the code sent to your mobile phone via SMS-message.

Step 5. Select currency of the transfer sent.

Step 6. Select country from which the transfer was sent.

Step 7. Specify the transfer sum (+/- 10% deviation is admissible).

Step 8. Confirm the transfer data.

Receiving a Western Union transfer from an ATM

By calling 3700 phone number

To send a money transfer:

Step 1. Call line 3700.

Step 2. Contact the operator (press zero in tone dialing mode after language selection).

Step 3. Give all the necessary information on the transfer to the operator.

Step 4. Give the OTP sent to your mobile phone via SMS-message to the operator.

Step 5. Wait for the operator to confirm successful debiting of funds from the card account.

To receive a money transfer:

Step 1. Call line 3700.

Step 2. Contact the operator (press zero in tone dialing mode after language selection).

Step 3. Give all the necessary information on the receivable transfer to the operator.

Step 4. Inform the operator as to the card account for money transfer crediting.

Step 5. Wait for the operator to confirm successful crediting of funds to the card account.

Please note:

transfers are credited to a card account in the card currency. In the event the card currency differs from that of the transfer, automatic conversion at the bank rate will be made.

A Western Union transfer sent is available for pay-out for a period of 45 days from the time of sending. If the transfer has not been received during this period, the money will be returned to the sender.
