PrivatBank’s net profit in 2019 will be at least 10 billion UAH - this was stated by the chairman of the board of the bank Petr Krumphanzl in an interview with LIGA.net. “It is clear that this is a preliminary estimate, now it is difficult to predict this figure to the penny, but I believe that the bank is able to earn more,” said the head of PrivatBank.

According to him, the pre-election period had practically no effect on the stability of the bank’s operation - cash withdrawals at PrivatBank’s ATMs on election days averaged 2.2 billion UAH per day - this is the standard daily average on weekdays. “Now the influence of the information background was insignificant. We did not impose any limits or restrictions. The highly liquid assets of the bank cover almost all liabilities at almost 100%”, noted Petr Krumphanzl.

Commenting on numerous questions about legal disputes between the former owners of the bank and the current one - the Ukrainian state in the person of the Ministry of Finance, the head of PrivatBank said that he was sure that the bank could not be returned to the former owners: “Firstly, the bank is out of politics. As for the change of ownership, we have repeatedly stated that the only legally and practically possible way for the Finance Ministry to withdraw from the number of shareholders is the sale of a bank to an international investor. This is our strategic goal.”

As Petr Krumphanzl stated, in the nearest plans of the bank there are several interesting projects with the largest global brands: “I cannot give details, but if everything works out, we will again surprise the market and be the first bank in the world that could realize something like that”. also today, PrivatBank continues to invest in infrastructure and launched the first stage of testing the new mobile bank Privat24, the main launch of which is planned by the end of summer.
