How do I get trial API keys?

Turn on the trial mode in LiqPay Business Account. Keys are available on the main page in the ""Get trial API keys"" section.

How does it work?

How do I check whether the refund was successful?

You can do it in the Business Account. To do this:

Step 1. Find the payment:
  • By ID using search function;
  • Using ""All payments"" → ""Payments"" → ""Payment history"" menu.
Step 2: Click on the payment to view its status.

Reversed status means a successful refund to the payer's card.

How do I get a refund receipt?

We do not provide such receipts yet. However, we expect to implement this service soon.

How to send a payment receipt?

In LiqPay Business Account, find the payment in ""All payments"" → ""Payments"" → ""Payment history"" menu.
Open the transaction and the ""Send Receipt"" button will appear.

At the expense of which funds are refunds carried out?

LiqPay has 2 schemes of refunds:
1. On the account of future payments.
The refund will be made when the sum of new transfers will be equal to the sum of refund.
2. From the company account opened with PrivatBank.
The refund shall be made within one hour.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, you can get a full or a partial refund.
This transaction is available in the interface of your Personal Account, as well as in the public API Refund.
In your Personal Account, find the payment through the ""All payments"" → ""Payments"" → ""Payment history"" menu. Open the payment and click ""Refund"" button.

How do I check the payment status?

You can do this in Business Account. To do this: Step 1. Find the payment:

Can individuals accept payments via LiqPay?

Private entrepreneurs only can accept payments to the current account. If required, we can request the documents authorizing you to sell services and goods placed on your website.

What is the difference between Personal Account and Business Account?

In Personal Account, you can make payments by card number or phone number and view the payment history.

In the Business Account, you can:

  • activate a merchant to accept payments;
  • set up the payment page design;
  • view the history of accepted payments;
  • view the payment analytics;
  • issue a bill;
  • generate a QR-code to accept payments.

Is it safe to use LiqPay web-interface?

LiqPay reliability is confirmed by PCI DSS, Verified by Visa and Mastercard SecureCode certificates.
Payment in LiqPay occur in three stages:
1. When making a payment, the user enters the card payment details: number, validity period, and a CVV code.
2. The transaction is confirmed by entering a one-off SMS-password sent to the user's mobile phone.
3. The transaction is also confirmed using 3-D Secure, the technology of entering an additional security password for payment.

What is LiqPay?

LiqPay is a modern payment solution by PrivatBank.

Using LiqPay, customers can pay for the goods and services with Mastercard/VISA/UnionPay/Prostir cards

  • on your website;
  • on the page in social media;
  • in Telegram/Viber;
  • in LiqPay mobile app.

Besides, you can receive payments from microfinance and insurance organizations and send money transfers from one card to another via LiqPay.

How to configure API for accepting payments on my website?

LiqPay provides merchants with an extensive list of public APIs to accept payments. You can use the ready-made payment html-button in ""Settings"" → ""Checkout"" → ""Widget"" section or set up a public API to accept payments.
APIs marked public are available for use immediately after the store registration at LiqPay.
To activate the use of API marked private, you must leave an activation request in the section of the documentation you are interested in. We will send you an answer within 48 hours.

In which countries can LiqPay Internet-acquiring be activated?

Entrepreneurs and legal entities registered in the territory of Ukraine only may accept payments by LiqPay.

May I accept payments to a current account opened with another bank?

For new partners, payments are accepted to the account opened with PrivatBank.
For large partners who have been working with LiqPay for a long time, an individual agreement with the account manager may be concluded.

May I accept payments to the account in foreign currency?

No. This restriction is stipulated by the Law of Ukraine on Payment Systems and Money Transfer in Ukraine No. 2346-III dated 05.04.2001.

How soon after successful payment are the funds credited to my account?

The funds are credited to the PrivatBank account instantly, on a 24/7 basis.
The funds are credited to accounts with other banks in accordance with bank regulations, usually within 1-3 days.

How do I start accepting payments on my website?

In order to accept payments on your website, you need to register your store at LiqPay.

Do I have to conclude a separate agreement for accepting payments?

No. When registering the store, you just need to accept the Terms and Conditions of LiqPay Service.

How do I pass authorization in LiqPay?

Go to https://www.liqpay.ua/ru/adminpersonal/, and specify a telephone number assigned to your card. Then confirm the login with the help of a SMS-password that will be sent to the specified telephone number. You can also make a confirmation through Privat24 app.

How to check the payment status?

Select the required date and your payment from the list in the ""History"" menu.
Successful payments are displayed in green, unsuccessful – in red.

How do I get a receipt?

Open the payment in the “History” menu. Then click the ""Send Receipt"" button and specify the e-mail address to which we will send the receipt.

How do I add a card?

To add a card to your Personal Account:
1) go to ""Wallet"" menu → ""Add card"";
2) specify the payment card details.
After confirmation, the card will be displayed in the ""Wallet"" menu

You can add a card confirming 3-D Secure technology. When you add a card, UAH 1 will be frozen and returned within 30 days.

Transfer of funds by telephone number

You can send a payment through LiqPay by indicating the telephone number of the recipient. For successful money transfer, the recipient should add a card in the ""Wallet"" menu.
If it's not done, the funds will be returned to the sender's card automatically within 7 days.

Transfer of funds to a card

You can make a payment from PrivatBank card to Visa/Mastercard of any bank of the world using your card number and vice versa.

Limits for card-to-card transfers (P2P)

Total amount of transfers for the sender:

  • per day - UAH 29,999;
  • per month - UAH 89,999.

You can transfer up to UAH 799,999 per week, and up to UAH 3,199,999 per month to the card of PrivatBank from the cards of other banks.

How do I return a payment?

To return the payment and receive information on the status of your order, we recommend to contact the recipient and show the payment receipt.
The receipt will indicate the site where the payment was made. You can also find information about the website by opening the payment in the ""History"" menu.
