To start using the Transfers by Phone Number service, select a card in the Privat24* app, go to Payment Settings → Set the Card as Default and press Enable Transfers by Phone Number.

* If you don't have the Privat24 app, please download it from Google Play or App Store.

How to transfer money by phone number

How do I cancel a transfer?

After a money transfer has been completed, it cannot be canceled. Please check the recipient’s phone number and name carefully when confirming the transfer.

How does the transfer recipient know the money was sent?

The recipient will get a notification, just as if it was a regular transfer.

How soon will the recipient get the money?

The money will be credited within a few minutes.

Can I send an instant transfer to any phone number?

No, the instant transfers can only be sent to a financial phone number of a person that is a client of any bank, if such person has chosen a card to receive transfers by phone number.

What should I do if I get a transfer not intended for me?

Call 3700 to contact the PrivatBank’s support service and settle the return of erroneously transferred funds.

Which card can I use to transfer money?

You can send transfers from any valid PrivatBank card.
