During the second quarter of 2017, PrivatBank issued more than 5,000 loans to small businesses under the "CUB" programme. Five hundred of these loans were granted to agribusiness clients under the "AgroCUB" programme that offers credit holidays for the first six months (a borrower pays only interest payments).

"We continue to actively develop the national programme for supporting entrepreneurship "Country of successful business" ("СUB"), which is now one of the priorities of PrivatBank's strategy, - said Serhiy Kliuiev, Head of Small and Medium Business. - The mission of this programme is to create new jobs by financing entrepreneurs. Since 2016 our borrowers have already created 207,020 new jobs due to the availability of this kind of microlending."

The "CUB" programme allows any private entrepreneur or legal entity (except state and municipal enterprises) to get financing for development of their business. In February 2017, PrivatBank provided new terms of lending for customers in the agricultural sector under the “AgroCUB” programme, introducing credit holidays for the first six months of using the loans. Also in early 2017, PrivatBank lowered the monthly commission to 2% and increased the maximum loan amount to UAH 500,000.
